On March 20, 2019, a representative of the organizing committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers met with Ms. Iina Heikurainen, CEO and Speech and Language Therapist at the Kipinä Centre.
During the meeting, Ms. Heikurainen introduced the history, philosophy, and key objectives of the centre and demonstrated several unique methods used in their important work with children.
The ideas of the forum were received enthusiastically. Ms. Heikurainen expressed her readiness to share Kipinä’s innovative techniques with international colleagues and confirmed her personal interest in participating in the event and cooperating with the organizing team.
The discussion also covered the opportunities the forum offers to teachers around the world and some of the core topics that will be addressed during the event.
