A meeting took place in Paris between Evgeniy Baranovskiy, co-founder and director of the UK-based non-profit organization World Sustainable Development Foundation Limited, and Ms. Victoire Deine Kohou, Advisor and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire to UNESCO. The two parties discussed the ongoing preparations for the Global Forum of the World’s Best Teachers and noted positive progress in the development of their partnership. The delegation of Côte d’Ivoire expressed its willingness to take an active part in the event. The possibility of participation by the country’s Minister of Education, Ms. Kandia Camara, in the opening ceremony of the forum was also discussed during the meeting. Côte d’Ivoire’s representatives proposed the idea of hosting one of the future thematic platforms of the forum in their country. The initiative was received with interest, though it will require further discussion, as the structure of events for 2027 has already been determined. Both parties confirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in the field of education across the African continent.
