On March 19, 2019, in Helsinki, Evgeniy Baranovskiy, Chair of the Organizing Committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers, met with His Excellency Mr. Nopporn Adchariyavanich, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Finland.
The meeting focused on Thailand’s participation in the forum, global educational challenges, and the current state of basic education in Thailand.
“Basic education is part of human rights. When you promote human rights, you promote basic education. Education is the key to developing human potential,” the Ambassador noted.
Evgeniy Baranovskiy emphasized that in a world of great diversity and uneven development, learning from the best is one of the most effective models for improving teacher qualifications—allowing governments to raise education quality without significant additional resources.
The meeting was held in a warm and constructive atmosphere. Both parties expressed mutual interest in cooperation, and the Ambassador confirmed his intention to speak at the World Forum of the Best Teachers.
