Technology that inspires children to code is quickly becoming a vital part of modern education. In early March 2019, in Kuala Lumpur, representatives of the organizing committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers met with Waris Kandra, Head of the Asia-Pacific Division of Micro:bit, and Jonathan Smith, representative of UK-based Premier Farnell — a global distributor of tools for electronics design, servicing, and repair. The meeting laid the foundation for a deeper partnership and collaborative development of educational programs.
