Bett Asia 2019: Asia-Pacific Leads the Conversation on Educational Transformation

What does the school of the future look like? This question took center stage at Bett Asia 2019, held on 12–13 March in Kuala Lumpur. Representatives of the World Forum of the Best Teachers took part in expert sessions, strategic meetings, and high-level discussions with key education leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region. This year’s theme — “Cultivating a Culture of Change in 21st Century Learning” — was reflected in every corner of the event, from cutting-edge solutions to paradigm-shifting practices.

The exhibition showcased a wide array of innovative technologies, from VR classrooms to adaptive learning systems, offering participants the chance to test and evaluate these tools in real time. Educators shared case studies of implementation, and attendees gained hands-on insights on how to apply these innovations in their own institutions.

For the Forum’s organizing team, participation in Bett Asia marked an important milestone. Productive meetings were held with education providers, EdTech companies, and leading universities, exploring paths for collaboration. The organizing committee extends its sincere appreciation to Bett Asia for the exceptional quality of the event and its professional focus.

The experiences and strategies emerging from the Asia-Pacific region are not just regional practices — they are globally relevant models. Incorporating them into the Forum’s agenda is now a key priority.
