In April 2018, a meeting took place in Paris at the headquarters of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) between Evgeny Baranovsky, Co-founder and Director of the UK-based non-profit company World Sustainable Development Foundation Limited, and Andreas Schleicher, Director for Education and Skills at OECD and the lead developer of the PISA programme.

The meeting was held in a constructive and positive atmosphere. Both parties expressed strong interest in strengthening global educational cooperation and in exchanging data, approaches, and analytical frameworks.

During the discussion, key areas for mutually beneficial collaboration were identified, including the potential involvement of OECD experts in events connected to the World Forum of the Best Teachers, as well as the integration of PISA insights into the broader international dialogue on the future of education
