During a working visit to Kuala Lumpur in March 2019, representatives of the organizing committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers held a meeting with Professor Adna Rahman from the University of Brunei Darussalam. Professor Rahman, who also serves as an advisor to the Minister of Education of Brunei, is the head of the university’s “Entrepreneurship Village” project. This initiative is aimed at fostering entrepreneurial skills among students — not just training future businesspeople, but cultivating a new generation of innovators and responsible creators of economic value.
During the meeting, Professor Rahman expressed strong interest in the mission and concept of the forum, emphasizing its relevance to Brunei’s educational landscape. He confirmed his readiness to initiate discussions on potential collaboration involving the University of Brunei Darussalam and the Ministry of Education of Brunei. The organizing committee representatives were invited to visit Brunei to conduct a series of working meetings and explore opportunities for cooperation. Both parties agreed to exchange additional information to prepare for the next stage of dialogue.
