In early March, representatives of the organizing committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers held a substantive meeting with Yakov Hecht, founder of the Israeli initiative Education Cities, renowned for its innovative approaches to educational transformation.
The discussion went beyond organizational matters and touched on broader topics, including the role of international forums in driving local change and promoting innovation within education systems.
Mr. Hecht emphasized that such events are especially relevant today, as they lay the foundation for systemic shifts — first in mindsets, then in institutions, and eventually in every school. He confirmed his willingness to support the forum’s initiative and invited the organizing team to Israel for working meetings with the local education community.
As a result of the meeting, both parties agreed to strengthen their partnership, facilitate the exchange of modern practices, and jointly develop ideas capable of transforming educational environments on a global scale.
