On 26 February 2019, a working meeting took place in Santa Cruz de Tenerife between representatives of the World Forum of the Best Teachers and Mr. David Peres-Dionis, Deputy Minister of Education of Tenerife. The discussion focused on the participation of the Canary Islands in the global educational initiative.
The parties agreed to cooperate and exchange best practices in teaching excellence. Mr. Peres-Dionis expressed his support for the forum and confirmed that the ministry would prepare and submit to the organizing committee a list of outstanding teachers from Tenerife, who will be granted free participation in the forum’s program.
This agreement highlights the forum’s expanding international reach and underscores the essential role that regional education systems play in shaping quality education worldwide.
