On 21 February 2019, in Paris, representatives of the organizing committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers met with Ms. Anne Becquet, Executive Director of the French pedagogical association Énergie Jeunesse (“Youth Energy”). Supported by the French Ministry of Education, the association is known for implementing unique methods that foster self-discipline and perseverance among students — especially those from underprivileged backgrounds.
Recent scientific studies have shown that brief psychological interventions can significantly improve academic outcomes for students in difficult social conditions. Youth Energy was the first organization in the world to convert these findings into structured educational programs and deliver them to schools free of charge.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to collaborate on forum preparation. The association will delegate teachers who have best implemented its methods. Ms. Becquet also recommended working directly with the Ministry of Education of France to help disseminate information about the forum across the country’s school network.
