A meeting was held in Madrid between representatives of the organizing committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers and Ms. Cuca Vera, Secretary for International Policy of the Federation of Education Workers’ Unions of Spain (La Federación de Enseñanza de Comisiones Obreras), one of the largest professional associations in the country. The discussions took place in a positive and constructive atmosphere.
During the meeting, which took place on 18 February 2019, the Forum’s representatives provided a detailed overview of the forum’s concept, goals, and expected outcomes. Ms. Cuca Vera kindly agreed to take part in selecting outstanding teachers, to invite her organization’s partners from Europe and Latin America to collaborate with the Forum, and to submit proposals for the program agenda.
