In Barcelona, representatives of the organizing committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers met with Mr. Antonio Jimeno Fernandez, President of Sindicat AMES. The meeting took place on 15 February 2019.
Sindicat AMES is a union focused on improving secondary education and works closely with the Spanish government and parliament on legislative reforms in education. The meeting centered around the forum’s core themes, with particular attention to the goals of education and the culture of diligence — topics that sparked a meaningful exchange of views.
The two parties agreed to cooperate. Sindicat AMES expressed its willingness to help identify outstanding teachers across Spain and support outreach efforts to potential partners in other cities.
