The Ghana National Association Of Teachers submitted a list of the best teachers in Ghana to the Organizing Committee of the Global Forum. The Ghana National Association Of Teachers unites two hundred thousand teachers in the country and is one of the largest organizations defending the interests of teachers. It is engaged in improving the working conditions of employees who work at the pre-school levels of the educational system (that is, in public and private primary, junior, secondary schools and teacher training colleges). The association proceeds from the fact that a high level of education is necessary for the preservation of a democratic society, therefore they hope that the Forum will help the development of education in Ghana and will give an push that will lead to successful development of society.
