Italian Partners to Support the Global Forum and Contribute to its Thematic Agenda

On 13 February 2019 in Rome, representatives of the Organising Committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers met with Ms. Elena Repman, President of the association “Ricerca senza frontiere” (Research Without Borders), and Mr. Marco Ricceri, Secretary General of the Institute for Political, Economic and Social Studies (Eurispes).

The meeting focused on the findings of an international study conducted by Eurispes on the state of education across multiple countries, including Italy. According to Mr. Ricceri, one of the most concerning trends identified in all countries surveyed is the decline in students’ curiosity and their sense of wonder about the world.

The association “Ricerca senza frontiere” will officially become a partner of the Global Forum Organising Committee, take part in the selection of the best teachers from Italy, and support their participation in the forum.

In cooperation with the Eurispes Institute, the association will also assist in shaping the thematic priorities of the Global Forum, ensuring they reflect both global trends and Italy’s national educational priorities.

The Organising Committee expresses its appreciation to the Italian partners for their analytical approach and commitment to contributing to the strategic content of the Global Forum.
