The Ministry of Education of Bosnia and Herzegovina has submitted to the Organising Committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers a list of educators selected to participate in the international programme, which will take place from 4 to 8 November 2019 in five countries around the world.
Teachers from various subject areas were nominated by local divisions of the Ministry across all cantons of the country, ensuring broad and balanced regional representation.
For Bosnia and Herzegovina, international exchange in the field of education is particularly important, as the country faces a number of systemic challenges — including excessive bureaucratisation, conflicting and overlapping curricula, and limited public funding.
The Organising Committee expresses its sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Education for its constructive cooperation and professional approach throughout the selection process. This partnership was initiated following a productive meeting with Ministry representatives held earlier in the city of Mostar.
