On 6 February 2019, Evgeny Baranovsky, Chair of the Organising Committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers, met with Mr. Andrea Carosso, Regional Coordinator of the Teachers’ Guild for the Italian provinces of Genoa, Savona, and Imperia.
The Italian Teachers’ Guild, which represents over 50,000 educators across the country, expressed its full readiness to actively contribute to the preparation and implementation of the Global Forum.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas of collaboration and agreed to exchange contacts and provide mutual support.
Mr. Carosso confirmed that the Guild would provide informational support to the Organising Committee and would nominate top teachers from Italy to take part in the Global Forum free of charge.
The Organising Committee is grateful for this initiative and looks forward to the meaningful participation of Italian educators in the international dialogue that will bring together the world’s best teaching practices.
