Australian Prime Minister Endorses the Country’s Participation in the Global Forum

The Organising Committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers has received an official letter from The Hon. Scott Morrison, Prime Minister of Australia, in response to the invitation for Australian educators to participate in the upcoming international forum.

In his letter, the Prime Minister acknowledged the significance of the initiative and stated:

“The Australian Government considers quality teaching and leadership in schooling to be critical to the future prosperity of young Australians... That is why the Government continues to work with its state and territory counterparts to improve the quality of the teaching workforce in Australia.”

On behalf of the Prime Minister, information about the Global Forum and the nomination process has been forwarded to state and territory education authorities across Australia, who are best positioned to identify and recommend high-performing and inspiring teachers for participation.

The Organising Committee extends its sincere appreciation to the Prime Minister of Australia for his recognition of the forum and looks forward to welcoming Australia’s top educators to the World Forum of the Best Teachers, taking place from 4 to 8 November 2019 in five international cities.
