St Christopher School has submitted the names of some of the United Kingdom’s best teachers to the Organising Committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers, taking place from 4 to 8 November 2019 in five global cities.
The school’s philosophy is rooted in a deep respect for each young person as an individual, with a mission to help students develop confidence, resourcefulness, social responsibility, moral courage, the ability to build meaningful friendships, and a genuine curiosity about life.
The teaching approach at St Christopher School is focused on nurturing self-discipline, intrinsic motivation, creative thinking, and the ability to make conscious, thoughtful choices. Lessons are designed to challenge students, encourage independent thinking, and cultivate a real love of learning.
At the Global Forum, St Christopher School’s educators aim to contribute to discussions about the development and transformation of education systems on a global scale — both public and private. They will highlight critical issues such as the limited accessibility of higher education for large segments of society, as well as the role of science in shaping youth in the modern era.
The Organising Committee continues its collaboration with UK-based associations and schools to select and invite the nation’s most outstanding educators to join this global dialogue on the future of teaching and learning.
