On 22 January in Warsaw, Evgeny Baranovsky, Chair of the Organising Committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers, met with His Excellency Hosam Rafik Mohamed Alkaweesh, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Poland.
The meeting focused on Egypt’s potential participation in the Global Forum, including the selection process for outstanding Egyptian teachers, opportunities for virtual participation, and the role of government bodies and national teaching associations in supporting the initiative.
Ambassador Alkaweesh expressed strong interest in the mission of the forum, its international scope, and its emphasis on inclusion and the exchange of best educational practices.
Evgeny Baranovsky formally invited Egypt’s Ministry of Education and professional educator networks to take part in the forum, highlighting that the World Forum of the Best Teachers is open to collaboration with all countries committed to advancing education.
The meeting took place in a spirit of mutual respect and understanding. Both parties expressed satisfaction with the outcome and agreed to maintain working-level communication moving forward.
