The Computer Educators Association of Nigeria (CEAN), an official partner of the World Forum of the Best Teachers, has submitted a list of Nigeria’s leading computer science educators to participate in the forum, which will be held from 4 to 8 November 2019 across five global host cities.
CEAN brings together some of the most accomplished computer science instructors in the country, known for successfully teaching and inspiring students despite limited ICT infrastructure and scarce digital resources in schools.
The Nigerian delegation to the forum includes educators and researchers from key national institutions, such as:
Department of Computer & Robotics Education, University of Nigeria
Science Education Department, Federal College of Education (Technical)
Department of Computer Science, Imo State University
Distance Learning Program, Federal College of Education (Technical)
Educational Research Network for West and Central Africa (ERNWACA) – Nigeria Chapter
The Organising Committee expresses its sincere appreciation to the Computer Educators Association of Nigeria for its leadership in promoting computer education across the region.
The participation of CEAN representatives will add vital perspective to global discussions on digital transformation in education, innovative teaching in low-resource settings, and equipping students with essential 21st-century skills.
