Eis Schoul Luxembourg, an official partner of the World Forum of the Best Teachers, has submitted a list of the best teachers from Luxembourg to participate in the forum, taking place from 4 to 8 November 2019 in five global host cities.
Eis Schoul is an innovative full-day school where one consistent team of adults accompanies students from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Built on the principles of inclusive education, the school ensures that the individual needs of every child are addressed, and that all pupils are actively involved in all aspects of school and extracurricular life.
At the Global Forum, teachers from Eis Schoul will present their leading practices under the overarching theme:
“Inclusion and Democracy at School.”
Their presentation will focus on key areas such as:
fostering a sense of responsibility and autonomy in students,
teaching pupils to reflect on their own learning through structured feedback,
helping children learn how to plan their education and personal time,
supporting the development of structured language, clear thinking, and public expression,
and preparing students to debate, defend their opinions, and represent their class in the school parliament.
The Eis Schoul approach is rooted in respect, mindfulness, and democratic participation.
The Organising Committee thanks its partners from Luxembourg and looks forward to welcoming Eis Schoul teachers to the Global Forum, where they will showcase the power of inclusion and student agency in building the school of the future.
