On 29 November 2018, Konstantin Lazarev, representative of the Organising Committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers, met with the leadership of the Academy of Principals (Singapore) — the national organisation that brings together principals from all schools across the country.
During the meeting, representatives of the Academy expressed their readiness to collaborate with the Forum’s Organising Committee in developing the forum’s programme and supporting the participation of leading school practitioners from Singapore.
The Academy confirmed its willingness to facilitate presentations of cutting-edge teaching methodologies, to be delivered by Singaporean educators as part of the forum’s international sessions.
The discussion also included prospects for cooperation with the European Institute for Educational Development, particularly in the following areas:
organising professional development visits to Singapore for teachers from various countries;
conducting two-week training courses in other countries, led by Singaporean educators.
The meeting marked an important step in expanding the forum’s global partner network and strengthening cooperation with one of the world’s most effective education systems.
