On 14 November, a meeting took place in Brussels between Evgeny Baranovsky, Co-founder and Director of the UK-based non-profit company World Sustainable Development Foundation Limited, and Mariagrazia Tagliabue, Head of the Brussels Office of the Association for Teacher Education in Europe (ATEE).
The discussion focused on continuing the partnership between the Organising Committee and ATEE in preparation for the World Forum of the Best Teachers. Particular attention was given to the participation of leading European educators, including the mechanism for inviting top teachers to attend the forum free of charge through national professional associations and teacher education institutions.
The parties also explored the possibility of organising joint international conferences across European countries in 2019–2020, as part of a broader programme of events and professional dialogue among educational communities.
The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere and reaffirmed the mutual interest in long-term cooperation in the field of teacher education and international coordination.
