The official visit of Evgeny Baranovsky, Co-founder and Director of the UK-based non-profit company World Sustainable Development Foundation Limited, to China continues.
Mr. Baranovsky participated in the National Conference “Modernity and Tradition,” which has been taking place since 20 October 2018 at Jiangsu Second Normal University in the city of Nanjing. As part of the conference, he held a meeting with the university’s Vice President, Mr. Liu Guiyu, where key topics of strategic cooperation were discussed in connection with the preparation of the World Forum of the Best Teachers.
Special attention was given to cooperation with Chinese teachers’ associations to identify ten of the country's best educators, who will be invited to participate in the forum free of charge. The meeting also covered strategies for informing educators in China about the forum’s programme and encouraging their involvement in its preparation.
The parties also explored the possibility of launching international exchange programmes between schools and educators, as well as organizing cultural competitions with the participation of students and teachers from different countries.
