The organizing committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers (WBTF) has received the official list of ten outstanding educators selected to represent the Republic of Mauritius at the forum.
At the same time, the Ministry of Education of Mauritius informed both public and private schools across the country about the upcoming international event and the opportunity to participate. A special expert group was formed within the Ministry to carry out the selection process. At the initial stage, the committee reviewed the candidates’ teaching portfolios. Individual interviews were then conducted with the shortlisted teachers, with further evaluation based on their teaching practices and classroom attendance records.
The final list of participants was approved by the Minister of Education. Leading up to the forum, the Ministry will continue holding regular working sessions with the selected educators representing Mauritius at WBTF.
