The organizing committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers has received the official list of selected educators from Zimbabwe, submitted by the Amalgamated Rural Teachers Union of Zimbabwe. Participation for the delegation will be free of charge.
Zimbabwean educators have expressed their intention to use the forum as a platform to discuss pressing challenges faced by rural schools. Key topics include underfunding, lack of motivation, absence of professional development opportunities, and limited access to infrastructure and technology.
The delegation also plans to address the effective use of computers and smartphones in the classroom, the role of social media in academic and social transformation, and modern, engaging teaching methods that capture students’ attention. Particular emphasis will be placed on improving the quality of science education.
