On March 22, 2019, representatives of the organizing committee of the World Forum of the Best Teachers met with Professor Richardus Eko, President of the Association of Higher Education Institutions in Computer and Information Technologies. Professor Eko also leads the Indonesian chapter of the International Association of Software Architects.
Under his academic and methodological leadership, more than 1,500 educational programs are implemented across over 700 higher education institutions in Indonesia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the relevance and necessity of integrating innovative technologies into education in today’s world. According to Professor Eko, such innovations not only improve the quality of education and increase student engagement, but also develop essential skills for success in the modern world.
Professor Eko expressed his full support for the mission and goals of the World Forum of the Best Teachers. As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to cooperate in preparing and promoting the forum. Professor Eko also pledged to assist in spreading information about the forum among members of the Association and to support its dissemination through educational channels in Indonesia.
