A meeting was held in Geneva involving the organizer of the International Conference COVID-19 Evgeny Baranovsky and the Assistant Director-General of the World Health Organization Dr. Ibrahima Sose Fall.
Dr. Ibrahima Sose Fall suggested adding a speech from the special WHO team dealing with "infodemic" to the conference program. They intend to discuss the spread of false coronavirus information.
"It is essential to share the correct scientific information about COVID-19 and eliminate the many rumors circulating about the virus," said Ibrahima Sose Fall.
Dr. Ibrahim Sose Fall has previously confirmed that he will also attend the conference.
The International Conference COVID-19 is an online conference that brings together leading virologists from Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and the Americas. Conference speakers include a Nobel Prize winner, Australian scientist Peter Doherty.
